She was born on July 28, 1940 in New Orleans, LA and was survived by her two sons and two daughter inlaws, her brother, six grandkids, eleven great grandkids, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Robbi Rhea was known for her kindness, love, and deep devotion to her Catholic faith. She was owner of Roses of Hope religious store in Chalmette, LA, member of the Legion of Mary at St. Mark's Catholic Church as well as eucharistic minister at St. Mark's and Our Lady of Prompt Succor and CCD instructor at OLPS before Hurricane Katrina relocated her to Abita Springs, LA. She was the founder of Mother of Mercy, a traveling prayer group, a member of St. Joseph Altar Guild, Confraternity of the Immaculate Conception and St. Joseph member of Sodality at St. Jane De Chantal Catholic Church in Abita Springs, LA. She was received to the Third Order Carmelite Discalced Secular 'OCDS' Our Lady of the Family at St. Jane De Chantel on January 25, 2009 and professed permanently July 30, 2014. She passed away on the Feast Day of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Robbi Rhea was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sister. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
