Patricia Garcia Roberts passed away, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at the age of 72. She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 43 years, Joseph Roberts, Jr.; her children, John Robino (Dina), Wendy Roberts, and Joelle Michel (Todd); and her cherished grandchildren, Ashley Robino, Sydni Fornos, Taylor Robino, Dylan Roberts, Tori Michel, and Deacon Odenwald. Patricia also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Oakley Moreau and Jhett Markey. She is survived by her sister, Sharon Billiot (Gene); her brother, Mark Garcia (the late Patricia); her cousin, Irma Pizzuto; and her aunt, Annie Garcia (the late Joseph); along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who she considered family. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Josephine and Phillip Garcia, Sr.; her brother, Phillip Garcia, Jr.; and her in-laws, Ruth and Joseph Roberts, Sr. Patricia was a native of Delacroix Island and resided her adult life in Violet, La. Patricia's greatest pride was her family. She found joy in baking delightful desserts, cooking, and sharing meals with those she loved. Her warm presence and generous spirit touched everyone around her, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. followed by a Celebration of her life from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2024 to be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2621 Colonial Blvd., in Violet, La.
