Joan Nata Dalon known as 'Ma' to many passed away peacefully on April 16, 2025. She was 74 years old. Born on November 8, 1950. Joan was a wonderful mother, sister, aunt and the greatest mawmaw JoJo. Joan was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. Joan was known for kindness, generosity, and compassion. She enjoyed playing darts for SBDL with her children and friends. She also enjoyed playing cards, watching football, hosting parties and cooking for everyone.
Predeceased by her daughter Darleen Dalon Clements, her parents Elizabeth and Frank Nata St. and brother Frank Nata Jr. Survived by her children Tammy Dalon, Malissa (Bryan) Nettleton and Nicole Dalon. Her sisters Elizabeth, Gloria, Belinda, and Mary. Known as mawmaw JoJo to Chelsea (Jonathan), Dylan (Samantha), Kayla, Damein, Zachary, Derrion, Chevy, Cassie, Louis Jr, and Chance. Great mawmaw JoJo to Isabella, Damein Jr, Delilah, Niko, and Dylan Jr. She also survive my many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will have a small memorial service on May 18th at 1:00 p.m. Memorial will be held at Andrew Jackson Lodge 1107 Lebeau St, in Arabi.
