Herbert Allen, Jr., affectionately known as 'Uncle Dee' and 'DHerb,' was born on May 7, 1947. He departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at his home in Braithwaite, LA at the age of 77. The Celebration of Life Service honoring the late Herbert Allen, Jr. at the First Asia Baptist Church, 2418 Walkers Ln., Meraux, LA 70075 on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 10 a.m.. Visitation at 9 a.m. in the church. Interment: Bethlehem Cemetery.
