Henry Hebert Vandenborre Jr. passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026, at Ochsner Hospital surrounded by his wife and family. Henry was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on February 18, 1959, to the late Shirley Couture and Henry Vandenborre Sr. He was a devoted husband, father, and Paw Paw. He is survived by his children - Benny, Rashelle (Corey), and Brittany. He was the proud pawpaw of Kayden, Skyla, Ava, and Bentley. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly and his son, Henry. Henry is also survived by his siblings Debra (Ronnie), Darlene (David), Connie, and Michael (Terrin) along with many other family members who will forever cherish his memory. Henry never met a stranger. He loved talking with people and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He dedicated many years of his life to serving his community through law enforcement as a police officer and a constable and coaching at Vista Park. Above all, Henry loved spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 1st, 2026 from 11 am-1pm at Gethsemane - 2825 Paris Road, Chalmette, LA 70043.
