Charles Ervin Joseph transitioned to his heavenly home on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. Mr. Joseph was born on November 12, 1939 to the late Howard and Alberta Joseph. He was raised in Sebastopol, La., with his brothers, the late Howard 'Skip' Joseph (Clara) and Henry Joseph. Charles was a 1958 graduate of Violet Consolidated School. He was also a veteran of the United States Army and retired from the United States Postal Service. Charles' memory will forever be cherished by his loving wife of 57 years, Bertha Lewis Joseph; two Goddaughters, six sisters-inlaw, two brothers-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his devoted caregiver. Relatives and friends; Pastor and members of Christian Fellowship Family Worship Center and other neighboring churches of St. Bernard and Plaquemines parishes attended the Visitation and Celebration Service honoring the life and legacy of the late Mr. Charles Ervin Joseph held at Christian Fellowship Family Worship Center, 5816 E.
