Lisa Menesses, age 61, passed away on April 13, 2025, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She departed peacefully at her home surrounded with love. Born in New Orleans on July 8, 1963, and became a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish. She was diagnosed in November 2023. Despite the challenges, she faced her illness with strength, resilience, and faith in God. Lisa is survived by many people who love her including her fiancée Keith Florane, her mom Patricia “Pat” Alfonso and stepdad Ervin Alfonso, her daughters Misty Mones and Mandy Guzman (Pedro), and her grandchildren Jace and Ayva Mones and Cayden, Isaac, P.J., and Eliana Guzman. She also leaves behind her brother Cliff Bertucci (Michelle), sister Jeannie Roussell (Mitchell), and stepsister Kayla Thonn (Nicky). Her aunt Pam Lowe (Paul), ex-husband A.J. Menesses, along with nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her dad Wayne Gauthe, grandparents Clifford and Manelita Bachemin, Uncle David Bachemin, son in law Shaun Mones, and her beloved pup, Sparkles.
