Roy Lawrence Bowen, Sr., passed away on August 21, 2024, at the age of 87. Roy was born on June 4, 1937, in New Orleans, LA, to the late Evon James Bowen, Jr. and Alvera Graf Bowen. He was a dedicated Domino's Sugar Refinery Salesman for over 30 years, a passionate coin collector, and an avid LSU and Saints Fan. He loved a good oyster Po-Boy. He was a resident of St. Bernard Parish for over 51 years. After Hurricane Katrina, Roy and Lynne relocated to North Carolina andthenmovedbacktoSt.BernardParishin 2016. He is survived by his sons, Roy Bowen, Jr., Kevin Bowen, and Keith Bowen, as well as his grandchildren Alexander Bowen, Madelyn Bowen and Isabella Bowen. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Lynne Huxen Bowen, his parents, his sister Judy B. Ryall, and his brother Evon 'EJ' Bowen, III.
