Claudia Faye Atkins Wagner, a longtime resident of Baton Rouge, La., will be laid to rest at Green Oaks Cemetery on June 21, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. Claudia passed away at her home in Bethel, Vt., on February 9, 2024. A brief memorial service will take place at her graveside. Claudia is preceded in death by her parents Laura and Edward Atkins; her eldest sister Bobbi Bass, her brothers Michael and Richard Atkins, her first husband Eugene Holcomb and their son Joseph Holcomb, her third husband Billie Wagner, and by her brothers-in-law Jimmy Priester and Kenny Sexton. Claudia is survived by her sisters Glynda Priester and Jenny Wilson (Harry); her brothers Edward and Charles Atkins (Juanita); her son David Holcomb (Donna) of Cache, Ok.; son Charles Holcomb of Weatherford, Ok.; son Thomas Bivins (Bennett Law) of Bethel, Vt.; daughter Christy Paola (Randy Alphonso) of Chalmette, La.; and her daughter Maria Paola of Bethel. Claudia is also survived by three stepdaughters and three stepsons, three granddaughters, eight grandsons, 16 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and her many nieces and nephews.
