Robin Lynn Buuck Calecas, of Chalmette, LA, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at the age of 64. Robin was the beloved wife of Lawrence Paul Calecas, with whom she shared 30 wonderful years of marriage. She was the devoted mother of Brittany Nicole Calecas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Armand Joseph Buuck, Sr. and Evelyn Rose Fals Buuck. Robin is lovingly survived by her brothers, Armand 'Stretch' J. Buuck, Jr. (Debbie) and Kenneth James Buuck (Tammy). She is also survived by her cherished nephews, niece, great-nieces, and great-nephew, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her greatly. Robin dedicated many years of service as a secretary at Chalmette High School before retiring. She was also a former member of the Shady Ladies Marching Club, where she enjoyed the friendships and memories made over the years. In her retirement, Robin found joy in life's simple pleasures. She especially loved watching Hallmark movies, tuning in to true crime programs, and online shopping. Her kind heart, gentle spirit, and love for her family will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Robin's memory will forever be treasured by those whose lives she touched. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation to be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 from 9:00AM - 11:00AM. A Memorial Service will begin at 11:00AM in the Chapel. Internment will follow in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
