Viola (Eva) Genevia Sino, 70 years old, of Meraux, LA, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026. Eva was born in the state of Mississippi on September 11, 1955. She was the daughter of Lue Dellar Dotson and Claude May. Eva was a strong, firm believer in the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior! Ms. Eva would always love to talk about the Word of God and her faith with you, and she would often sing worship and praises to her God. She will be deeply and greatly missed, but all of the memories and love for her will remain in our hearts forever. We will never forget her... ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true. Revelation 21:4,5. Viola (Eva) was a devoted grandmother to her grandson, Troy Sino Jr.. Eva was preceded in death by her late husband, Joseph Sino and both of her late sons, Cantrell May and Troy Sino Sr. The funeral will be held at First Asia Baptist Church, 2408 Walkers Ln., Meraux, LA 70075, on Saturday, June 20, 2026. The viewing will begin at 9:00 A.M. Service will follow at 10 A.M. Interment will be held at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, 210 Bertrandville Rd., Bertrandville, LA 70390.
