Last I checked, Louisiana physically lies between the state of Mississippi to the east, Texas to the west, Arkansas to the north, and the Gulf of America to the south. The question is, why does Louisiana seem like California? It has similar issues to the west coast giant.

In 1949 the fifth edition of the Bohemian-American Cook Book by Marie Rosicky was published. It is an English translation of a book that was first published in Bohemian and compiled by Marie Rosicky. Her daughter, Rose Rosicky, translated it and had the book published.

Judges got a sweet start to the recent Mardi Gras holiday when students at Chalmette High School showcased their culinary talents during the school’s inaugural hosting of the King Cake Extravaganza, a long-standing local competition traditionally held at Nunez Community College.
