LDWF Shuts Down Public Oyster Grounds in Drum Bay and Shell Beach

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) officially closed oyster harvesting on “public oyster seed grounds” in St. Bernard Parish half an hour after sunset on December 22, 2025.
