    More than 10,500 adults in Louisiana have received financial aid through the MJ Foster Promise Program. It’s a workforce education and training program designed to help residents move into high-demand, high-wage jobs.

    Lawmakers created the program in 2021 to provide more opportunities to Louisiana adults without postsecondary credentials. The program was named after Gov Mike Foster.
