Perry Menesses, 69, of St. Bernard passed away Thursday, August 6, 2026. Perry was born in New Orleans and a life-long resident of St. Bernard. He was born on January 23, 1957. Perry is survived by his mother, Josie Menesses, his three children, Perry “PJ” Menesses, Jr. (Jennifer), Christina Menesses Smith (Robert) and Joshua Menesses (Jessica), his seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Dennis Menesses (Joy), Stanley Menesses and Cecilia Menesses and his very close friends, Myrty and Will Guillot. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Menesses and his granddaughter, Alissa Smith. A funeral mass and service will be held at St. Bernard Catholic Church on August 31, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
