Weed of the Month: Parthenium Ragweed (Parthenium hysterophorous)This long-lived annual weed is a member of the aster family, going by many names, including false ragweed, carrot weed, parthenium ragweed, Santa Maria feverfew, whitetop weed, famine weed, and congress weed.

Ingredients:• 1 (3 pounds) whole chicken (clean and pat dry)• 4 stalks green onion• 4 slices ginger• 3 tablespoons garlic (minced) Seasonings:• 2 cups soy sauce• 2 tablespoons sugar• 1 tablespoon wine• 1 star anisePreparation: 1. Stir seasoning in a pot for 2 minutes over low heat to make the sauce.
