Author and Chalmette teacher George Goggan promotes his book 'Katrina and the Cajun Duck' at the Kiwanis Club meeting Tuesday evening at Rock and Carlos. Goggan, who is self publishing the book, hopes to make it a series and personally autographed copies of the book he sold after the meeting. Goggan, who was teaching in Jeerson Parish before Hurricane Katrina, started teaching in St. Bernard Parish when schools first opened with on 'unified' school and has been a teacher in the parish since.
