If you didn’t watch the Jesse Jackson funeral memorial recently, you missed former President Barack Hussein Obama. Politicians like to use funeral services for political purposes, like seeing old friends and enemies, making deals, and occasionally, making speeches.
The statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary that was blessed this past Saturday. For those who attended, it was a renewal of faith. The beautiful rose decorations were arranged by Myrna Hinyub and what a talent she was at the event with her many home cooked dishes served.

Bravo will get cooking today with some big news from Chalmette High School and its ProStart Program, a two-year culinary arts and restaurant management curriculum. At the recent Louisiana Seafood ProStart Invitational, Chalmette placed first in both the Culinary and Management Competitions.
