I hope for most people of faith Easter Sunday was a day of renewal. The weather was not the best but remember April showers bring May flowers. Families attended church and good Sunday midday meals were had.

Students can earn valuable equipment and workforce certifications during Nunez Community College’s six-week Heavy Equipment course.Classes begin April 20 and run through May 26. Students will attend class on the Nunez campus in Chalmette Monday- Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $5,500.
