House Transportation Committee Reviews Bill Addressing St. Bernard Transportation Corridor

On Tuesday, April 22, the Louisiana legislature’s “Transportation, Highways, and Public Works” committee held a meeting to discuss a series of proposed bills, but, most importantly for St. Bernard Parish, the committee addressed House Bill (HB) 616 from Representative Mark Wright.

SBSO Drug Take-Back Day Set For Saturday April 26

St. Bernard Parish Sheriff James Pohlmann is asking residents to clear out their medicine cabinets and safely dispose of any unused or expired prescription and over-the-counter medications on Saturday, April 26, as the Sheriff’s Office joins the annual National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.
