Mardi Gras has taken its toll of everyone’s attention with the parades and parties. Friday night, I attended the parades on St. Charles Avenue what a crowd of parade goers.

The Kiwanis Club of St. Bernard’s first meeting of February, held on Feb. 5, entertained guest speaker Ray Garofalo Jr., State Representative District 103, Louisiana House of Representatives. Mr. Garofalo spoke on the many Road, Highway and Green Bridge Projects. There were many up’s downs and re-prioritization of the work. The Green Bridge (Parish Road Bridge) as reported by LA DOT is SAFE and now will be completed in 2022 repainted GREEN. We are all looking forward for to see it Green once more.
