Mellie Rosalee Whiddon Lott of Slidell, La., passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at the age of 92. Mellie was born April 28, 1931, in Lamar County, Ms., to Alfred Sherman Whiddon and Viola Angeline Melton Whiddon. In 1950, she married John Everett Lott.
