Justin Bordelon

Born on August 13, 1980, and raised in Chalmette, Louisiana, Justin never met a stranger. He lived life with a fearless spirit, a quick wit, and an undeniably big heart. Known from an early age as the class clown, Justin never lost his sense of humor or his gift for making people laugh. His humor was unforgettable, his personality larger than life, and he had a unique ability to put smiles on faces. He never judged others and had a remarkable ability to connect with people from all walks of life, making everyone feel welcome. Justin dedicated many years to serving and protecting his community through his work with the Orleans Parish Criminal Sheriff's Office and the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff's Office. Throughout his career, including his time in Special Operations, he formed lifelong friendships and earned the respect of those who worked beside him. He became a father at a young age, a role he embraced with immense pride and love for his daughter, Callie. In July 2025, Justin became 'G' to his beloved granddaughter, Eloise, a role that he cherished. In 2013, Justin married his best friend, Maggie. Together, they shared many fun outings, whether it was a bike ride, a festival, or a walk with their beloved dog, Mila. More than anything, Justin loved being surrounded by family and friends. He was the fun dad, the goofy uncle, the loyal friend, and the person who could always be counted on to bring laughter to a gathering. Some of his happiest moments were spent being silly and loud, making jokes, and creating memories with the people he loved most. Justin is survived by his wife, Maggie Bordelon, and their dog, Mila; his daughter, Callie Bordelon (Cade); his granddaughter, Eloise Mayeaux; his mother, Doris Bordelon; his sister, Joelle Graham (Ian); his brother, Jeffrey Bordelon (Trisha); his beloved nieces and nephews, Adalyn, Emily, Beau, Wyatt, Winston, and Audrey; his maternal grandfather, Philip; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Chief Gary Bordelon; his maternal grandmother, Thais Schick; his paternal grandparents, Audrey and Wilfred Bordelon; and his dear friend, John Rockwell. Justin will be remembered for his laughter, his loyalty, his compassion, and his ability to make people feel like family. Though his time with us was far too short, the memories he created and the love he shared will live on in all who knew him. Relatives and friends were invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST.
