Darrell Donnelly, of Saint Bernard, Louisiana, passed away on June 12, 2026, just one day shy of his 67th birthday. He was born on June 13, 1959, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to his parents, Conchetta Donnelly and Robert Donnelly Jr. Darrell was the beloved husband of over 30 years to the late Vicky Campo Donnelly, and together they built a life centered on family and the joy of being surrounded by those they loved most. Darrell was the cherished father of the late Charles Baggese; proud grandfather of Trent Baggese; brother of Peggy Wolf, Robert Donnelly III, Eric Donnelly, and Lance Donnelly; and brother-inlaw of Jo Marie Brown (David). He was preceded in death by his in-laws, Annabelle & Nelson Campo Sr., and his brothers-in-law, Peter Campo and Nelson Campo Jr. Darrell worked as a crane mechanic, a trade that reflected his strong work ethic, practical skill, and dependable nature. His hands were skilled, but it was his heart that left the greatest impression. To those who knew him best, he was affectionately known as Pop Pop, a title he wore with great pride and deep affection. Darrell's greatest blessings were Charlie Boy and Trent. He and Vicky were wonderful parents and grandparents who poured their love into their family and created lasting memories that will be cherished for generations. Darrell had the biggest heart, and he never hesitated to help anyone in need. His kindness was genuine and his spirit was generous. Darrell will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
