Louisiana Statesman Recognized, Rolls “The Beach” into the Future

The iconic Twentieth Century amusement park, Pontchartrain Beach, with it’s memorable Zephyr rollercoaster ride on the New Orleans lakefront has been transformed into a launch pad of jobs and innovation named The Beach at UNO in honor of the bygone destination of entertainment thrill-seekers. This celebratory statement, made in 1803, marked the occasion of two American representatives successfully negotiating to buy the Louisiana Territory from France, thus doubling the size of the United States.
