On Friday, March 21, the St. Bernard Parish Public School System held their 2025 Louisiana Special Olympics event at Chalmette High School's Nuss stadium. Members of the community (whether residents or local officials) from all over the parish traveled to Chalmette High School to watch and cheer these athletes as they competed in a variety of sporting events throughout the day.
