The first annual Battle of New Orleans Regional Symposium will begin in Plaquemines on Tuesday, May 7, at the Belle Chasse American Legion Hall, 104 Hunt Street at 6 p.m. It is free and open to the public. The Belle Chasse session is the first of four programs held during the week of May 7 through May 11.
