Lynnda R. Chiappetta passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 18th, 2026, at the age of 83. Lynnda was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Lilly Richard and Roy Richard Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Chiappetta Jr. Lynnda is survived by her beloved great grandchildren, Brooklyn Chiappetta, Aubree Chiappetta, Meadow Combe and Sean Chiappetta; granddaughters, Kortney Combe (Alex), Jordan Chiappetta and Megan Chiappetta; son Kevin Chiappetta; daughter-in-law Karen Chiappetta; son Paul Chiappetta III. Lynnda enjoyed reading, sewing and browsing Facebook. She also loved tailgating at Southeastern football games. Her biggest joy in life was having her kids and grandchildren around her. She also enjoyed dining out and shrimp po boys! She loved her dogs like they were her kids. Lynnda will leave behind a great influence on those who met her. She always treated others with respect and kindness. Her legacy will continue through her kids, grandchildren and all who knew her, who understand her greatest asset, her unconditional giving! Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA, on Friday, September 4, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
