To my readers and friend, This is my shortest column ever. I had a hip replacement this past Thursday, June 20. I am recovering at a steady pace. It was not painful until Friday, June 21, midday after PT (physical therapy). The surgery went well and my surgeon was Dr. Jacob Folse from the Morgan City area.
