SBSO Partners with Parish Government to Enhance Trail Safety

The St. Bernard Parish Sheriff ’s Office has partnered with St. Bernard Parish Government to enhance safety along the parish’s bikeways and trails, Sheriff James Pohlmann said.“These pathways are valuable community assets for our residents to enjoy,” Sheriff Pohlmann said.

As the new Savor St. Bernard commercial reminds us, it’s time to savor the flavor of St. Bernard. A collaborative effort between the parish government and the St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce, the video promotes a 10-day celebration of local restaurants, cafés, bakeries, and food establishments.
Members of NARFE Vernon N. Landry Chapter 1398 came together on July 8, 2026, to celebrate their 15th Anniversary since re-forming after Hurricane Katrina. It was a wonderful day spent with this wonderful family of friends enjoying camaraderie and some delicious eats at Rocky and Carlo’s Restaurant. Additionally, the group enjoyed mini cupcakes and ice cream for dessert, thanks to Ellen Barrois (pictured 2nd from left on the last row).
