November 15 Election Ballot Has School Board Millage Renewal

St. Bernard Parish voters will have the opportunity to participate in a small election on Saturday, November 15, featuring just one measure on the ballot. Despite this, the measure in question is fairly significant and its passing or failing will have a tangible influence on the parish.

Dr. Tina Tinney, Nunez Chancellor, was in Salt Lake City, Utah, Oct. 20-21 representing Louisiana on the National Lieutenant Governors Association's (NLGA) Aerospace, Aviation & Defense Committee.Dr. Tinney was one of two Louisiana leaders invited to join the committee by Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser.
