School Board Millage Renewal Approved in Nov. 15 Election

On Saturday, November 15, St. Bernard Parish voters had the opportunity to participate in an election that featured just one measure on the ballot: a millage renewal for the St. Bernard Parish School Board. As is usually the case in these small elections, turnout for the election was weak.

State Representative Mike Bayham, Louisiana Insurance Commissioner Tim Temple, and State Senate Insurance Committee Chairman Kirk Talbot hosted a town hall meeting in the St. Bernard Parish Council Chamber on Thursday evening, November 13th.
