St. Bernard Parish Public Schools recently recognized its three District-Wide Teachers of the Year, honoring their commitment to classroom excellence and leadership.
The St. Bernard Parish Government announced that multiple coastal restoration projects are set to begin construction in 2020 or 2021 in an update posted to the SBPG’s Facebook page.
By a margin of 1,686 votes, Republican William “Billy” McGoey was able to defeat Democrat Leola Anderson to become the judge of St. Bernard’s 34th Judicial District Court, Division A at the December 5 runoff election. McGoey Collected 3,652 votes (or 65% of the vote) to beat out Anderson’s 1,966 (or 35% of the vote).
