Three outstanding educators were recently named district-wide Teachers of the Year in St. Bernard Parish. Michelle Ingraffia, Will Lancaster, and David Bellard were chosen by a panel of judges to represent the district in the upcoming regional competition for Louisiana
Early voting in the December 10, 2022, election is set to begin on November 26 and run through December 3 (with the exception of Sunday, November 27). During that time, St. Bernard Parish residents will be able go to the St. Bernard Parish Government Complex on Judge Perez Drive in Chalmette from 8:30 a.m. through 6 p.m. to vote on any elections occurring in the parish on December 10.
Nunez Community College in Chalmette has signed a letter of intent with Energy Innovation of Norway to develop a curriculum and training center for the construction and maintenance of on and offshore wind turbines.
