Chalmette High School Musicians Make LMEA District Honor Band

Five students from Chalmette High School Band and its Talented Music Program recently auditioned and were accepted into the Louisiana Music Educators Association's District Honor Band. The honor band auditions are open to music students in all schools from St. Bernard, Jefferson and New Orleans. Talented Music Teacher Jason Rusk said “it’s a tremendous honor for students to be accepted into this prestigious performing group.”
