In the 1960s Amy Vanderbilt created a correspondence course called Amy Vandermilt Success Program for Women. The course consisted of many booklets that taught interested women about very aspects of social life and what we call today, lifestyle.

A tip of the cap to the hundreds of caps tossed in the air at the recent Chalmette High School graduation, with some big numbers to celebrate. 577 students graduated from CHS this year and secured over $30 million in scholarships.
