• Travis and Alta Mae Galyean, of Meraux, were driven to their 60th wedding anniversary celebration in a 1939 Dodge. The reception was held at First Baptist Church of Chalmette. The Galyeans, who were married on September 3, 1939, have three daughters, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
