According to St. Bernard Parish Government ordinance, here are the times when fireworks can legally be used in the parish surrounding the New Year’s celebration:
• From Dec. 26 through Dec. 30, fireworks can legally be used from 9 a.m. until 11 p.m.
• On Dec. 31, they can be used from 9 a.m. until 2 a.m.
