    Local shrimp prices are so low because imports from Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, and Ecuador, are forcing some shrimpers to sell at $2 to $3 per pound.

    How can shrimpers pay for a boat, insurance, maintenance, rising fuel costs, and a crew, and make a living at those prices?

    Should you trust a supplier who can make a living at those prices? What about seafood Quality? Safety? Health?
