    With the 2025 Atlantic hurricane season underway, St. Bernard Sheriff James Pohlmann is urging residents to make preparations now in case a storm threatens our area.

    “Hurricane season runs June 1 through Nov. 30, and with our proximity to the Gulf, we must stay prepared,” Sheriff Pohlmann said.
