St. Bernard Sheriff ’s Office Helps Place Flags at Chalmette National Cemetery for Memorial Day

    Several deputies with the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office joined community volunteers on the morning of Friday, May 22 at Chalmette National Cemetery to help place American flags at the headstones of thousands of veterans laid to rest there in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 25.
