St. Bernard Pastors Celebrate Over 35 Years of Ministry

  • On Sunday, April 23, 2023, Pastors James and Julie Jeffries celebrated over 35 years of ministry with their congregation at House of Refuge Assembly of God, located at 1561 LA Hwy 46, St. Bernard. Pastor Jeffries pastoral services began in 1988 where the church originated in Reggio, LA, and was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. House of Refuge was then opened in 2009, in St. Bernard Parish.
