SBSO Hosts Litter Pick-Up Along Verret Canal
The St. Bernard Parish Sheri 's O ce participated in Love the Boot Week, a statewide event encouraging litter pickup in Louisiana, by cleaning a canal in the Verret area. Though this e ort from the sheri 's o ce was not technically a part of the parish's Love the Boot Week itinerary, which featured a whole list of litter pickup events from April 18 through April 26, it aligned perfectly with the initiative's overall goal and message--highlighting the importance of keeping the parish clean and free of trash.
