The Krewe of Lourdes is organized for the purpose of raising funds for Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Violet and/or any other charitable organizations to be determined by the board of directors, and to provide the residents of St. Bernard and surrounding areas with the opportunity to participate in a tableau Carnival Ball.
