Former St. Bernard Parish Resident, Chalmette High School graduate, and current National Basketball Association (NBA) player for the New York Knicks Mitchell Robinson hosted his annual basketball camp on July 15. Held at the Val Riess Recreation Complex, this was the 6th annual camp he has hosted. The camp was available to kids ages 9 to 17. Those who attended were able to practice their basketball skills while receiving advice from an NBA professional.
