This photo is of a Tarpon caught in Lake Pontchartrain in September 1951. The man next to the tarpon is only identified as Oswald, and was aboard a 15 foot long Vee Hull with a 10hp outboard when he managed to catch the tarpon. Oswald was 6'4' tall to help put the length of the fish in perspective. The Trapon weighted 198 pounds.
