Arlene Meraux Elementary Launches Student-Led “Adopt a Drain” Program Inspired by Mississippi River Delta Institute

Arlene Meraux Elementary has launched a new, student-driven environmental initiative thanks to the leadership of third-grade teacher Christina Crego, who recently participated in the Mississippi River Delta Institute over the summer. The institute equipped Ms. Crego with a storm drain stewardship kit and the training needed to implement hands-on environmental projects with her students.
