Tina was called home by her Father in Heaven on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at the age of 60. Tina was born in Del Rio, TX, on December 3, 1953, and she resided in Laplace, LA. Tina is survived by her daughter, Danielle Guaraggi Domingue, her mother, Fabia Guillot Ibieta, her stepfather, Juan B. Ibieta Jr., her sister, Tanya Ibieta Ory (Paul), her brother, Juan B. Ibieta, III (Julie), her nieces Ann Marie, Maria and Jenna, her nephews Justin and Jake, and her former husband, Michael Guaraggi. Tina was preceded in death by her father, James L. Davis, and her grandparents, Rose Simoneaux Guillot, and Conrad Joseph Guillot, lovingly known as Mere and Pere, with whom she now rests in peace. Tina was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School in Chalmette, and the University of Southwestern Louisiana (USL), Lafayette. Tina was devoted to her students as a certified English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher in St. John the Baptist Parish and Iberia Parish. She continued to teach throughout her treatment for cancer, to the admiration of all who knew her. Tina's family gives special thanks to Dr. Laura Brinz and staff, St. Catherine's Hospice, and all the doctors, nurses, and staff at East Jefferson General and River Parishes Hospitals for their care of Tina. Relatives and friends were invited to attend a funeral mass at St. Charles Borromeo Church, on Saturday, April 12, 2014. Visitation was held at the Church.
