Sharron Ann Vogt Brunet passed away at home on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the age of 53. Born in New Orleans, LA, on October 1, 1961, she was the beloved youngest daughter of the late George Vogt Jr. and the late Annabel Silbernagel Vogt. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 33 years, Barry Brunet Sr.; two children, Barry Brunet Jr. and Bradley Brunet (wives Emily and Maegan); caring sister Robbie Rhea Vogt Mayfield; and loving brother and sister-in-law George Vogt III and Lynn Vogt. She is also survived by a large and loving extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins and a supportive group of dear friends, the Killer Bees. She retired from Sears Roebuck and Company in 1999 after a successful career in management. She was a 1979 graduate of the Academy of the Holy Angels and a proud, lifelong resident of Chalmette. Family and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Mass at Our Lady of Prompt Succor in Chalmette on Friday, March 13, 2015 at noon with visitation at 10:30 a.m. A celebration of her life will follow.
