Lodia Hotard Billiot Dardar

Lodia Hotard Billiot Dardar went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 27, 2015. She was 92, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a longtime resident of Violet. Beloved wife of67 years to the late Harris Alton Dardar, Sr. by  second marriage and the late Lovency Billiot  by first marriage. Loving mother of Lovency Billiot (Kathy), Daniel Dardar (Patricia), Jimmy Dardar, Harris Dardar, Jr. (Doris), David Dardar, Sr. (Brenda), MaryAnn Chaisson (Robert, Sr.), Janet Barron (Benton, Sr.) and the late Roland Dardar (Julie). Sister of the late Aurelian (the late, Ezore), Van (the late, Frances), Noah (the late, Emma) and Paul (Vivian) Hotard. Grandmother of Lovency “Dolly” Billiot, Darren Billiot, Deanne Weaver, Destrie Gonzales, Roland Michael Dardar, Robin Pampo, Shelly Ashan, Danny Dardar, Kandie Dudenhefer, Jesse Dardar, Linda Dardar, James Dardar, Timothy Dardar, Jonathan Dardar, Chris Dardar, Tony Dardar, Lisa Lanier, Julie Borrouso,David Dardar Jr., Jared Dardar, Julienne Molinere, Tiffany Englert, Robert Chaisson, Jr. and the late Tiffany Lynn Dardar and Joseph L. “Joe-Joe” Miserendino, Jr. Also survived by great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, sisters-in law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Lodia Hotard Dardar was a faithful follower of her Lord, Jesus Christ. Her steadfast love and faith in her God were her foundation in life. Not only did she have a deep love for her Savior but also a deep love for her family. She sincerely loved and found such joy in being with her children, grandchildren,  great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She and her  husband, the late Harris Dardar, touched many lives through the   life they lived. Instilled at a young age, Lodia Dardar was a quiet pillar of strength for her family. She had an amazingly hard work ethic, a firmness of mind and spirit, and an unyielding courage in the face of hardships. Her unwavering faith, surprising wit, tender smile, and great inner strength will be remembered for many years to come. Relatives and friends were invited to attend the funeral service at Poydras Baptist Church in St. Bernard, LA, on Saturday, August 1, 2015. Visitation was held at L. A. Muhleisen and Son Funeral Home in Kenner on Friday, July 31, 2015 and at the church on Saturday until time of service. Interment in St.Bernard Catholic Cemetery, Kenilworth, LA.
